Paul Ferguson

Paul Ferguson is the 1995 recipient of the Gil Evans Fellowship in Jazz Composition, awarded annually by the International Association of Jazz Educators. Formerly lead trombonist and arranger for the Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey Orchestras, Paul now performs with and writes for the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra. His music is published by Kendor and Sierra Music.

A graduate of the University of Akron and the Eastman School of Music, Paul has been Director of Jazz Studies at Case Western Reserve University since 1988.
