Azica is a full service independent record label that specializes in high fidelity location recording. Our goal is to capture every performance with presence and excitement in order to create an engaging recording that excites and inspires the listener. We strive to be artist centric, regarding your input as critical and invaluable throughout the entire process.
We believe that the acoustic space, performer, and production team must all work in concert to create the best possible recording, both musically and technically. In the true spirit of collaboration, Azica will work to understand your goals for the project as well as craft a sound and sonic presentation that represents you in the way that you desire.
We approach each artist with respect and empathy for the challenges that they might encounter during the recording process, while carefully minding the musical details of intonation, ensemble, tempo, and dynamics. We believe that an encouraging approach with a positive mindset is the best way to achieve a superior musical result. The artist must feel comfortable enough to take artistic risks during the session and a good producer will help to facilitate that mindset.
This philosophy carries through the editing and post-production process. This process is very collaborative with your input at every step on editing and mix decisions. The record isn’t finished until you are satisfied with the final master.
Last, Azica does not have a standard “look” for design and packaging. Each artist has the ability to craft the design in a way that they feel best represents them. While we can provide graphic design services, we are also willing to work with any designer with whom you may already have a positive relationship.
